Custom Music for BBC Creative
Hundred Hand Slap was commissioned by BBC Creative to craft two original tracks for a major football campaign running across BBC Radio. The brief came with one brilliantly simple creative restriction: the lyrics couldn't deviate from the word "football".
Working closely with BBC Creative, we set about writing two completely different musical executions. The first took inspiration from 80s synth pop with earworm vocals. The second went firmly into UK grime territory with a powerful rap.
The tracks were then developed by BBC Creative into a pair of radio trails, with the finished campaign broadcast across four BBC national radio networks with a combined weekly station reach of more than 20 million.
