Our story

Founded by Matt Fisher, Hundred Hand Slap grew from a lifelong obsession with sound, connection, and collaboration.

Matt is a visionary leader, audio creative, sound designer, and sonic storyteller working across radio, film, television, podcasts, gaming, and live experiences. For nearly two decades, he helped define the sound of modern broadcasting at the BBC, delivering multi award-winning work across BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Asian Network, and more. During this time, he's led teams of audio specialists, shaping distinctive sonic identities with a focus on craft, clarity, and audience connection.

Alongside broadcasting, Matt has produced acclaimed podcasts for Audible, Wondery, Cup & Nuzzle, Granny Eats Wolf, and Campside Media, helping each project find its voice and build meaningful connections with audiences worldwide. His live and experiential work spans collaborations with chart-topping artists, major record labels, the England football team, large-scale drone shows, and immersive museum exhibitions.

At its core, Hundred Hand Slap partners with broadcasters, brands, and production companies to harness the power of sound to build identities, tell stories, and move audiences. It combines deep strategic insight with creative curiosity and a genuinely collaborative approach.
