Hundred Hand Slap created the custom music theme for Jazz Hop with Dan Blake, a Jazz FM series exploring the connection between classic hip hop and the jazz records that inspired it.
Our bespoke composition became the sonic identity of the series, serving as the programme opener while also being adapted into promos and production beds to create a cohesive sound across the show.
Series 3 sees Dan Blake explore three influential jazz genres, tracing the hip hop producers who sampled them and uncovering the stories behind some of the genre's most iconic records.
